Pair A Pantech Phone

A Bluetooth headset allows a user to communicate without holding the cell phone.


Pairing a Pantech phone with a Bluetooth headset allows a user to communicate without needing to hold the phone. Pairing involves programming the headset and the phone to work together. After the headset is paired, a secure connection is established that can be used to communicate. Calls can be answered and disconnected without the need to press any keys on the phone. Depending on the Pantech phone model, the steps may vary.


Instructions


1. Press "Start" on the Pantech phone's home screen.


2. Select "Settings" and press "OK." Scroll down to "Connections" and press "OK."


3. Select "Bluetooth" and highlight "Add New Device." Press "OK."


4. Wait as the phone searches for the Bluetooth headset. Select the headset from the list of found devices and press "Next."


5. Enter the passkey for the Bluetooth on the Pantech phone. The passkey can be found in the headset's packaging.
