Remove A Memory Card From A Cell Phone

Remove a Memory Card From a Cell Phone

Cell phones not only have their own internal storage, many also have external storage capabilities as well. This means that with a memory card you can store games, pictures, videos and possibly more on the card as a way to free up memory on the cell phone. The memory card that fits into cell phones with an external slot is called a microSD memory card.

Instructions

1. Determine where the card is stored. It will most likely be on one of the sides of the cell phone. It will have a cover with what looks like a little cartridge on it.

2. Pop open the cover to reveal the card in the slot. The cover will be loosely connected to the cell phone so be careful not to tear it off. Once the cover is removed, you will be able to see the small cover inside.

3. Press the card in gently with your index finger and the card will pop out.

4. Pull the card all the way out. You can now use it for a different cell phone or device that supports microSD memory. You can also use it with a SD card adapter for use on a computer or laptop.
