Pair A Plantronics Headset To A Blackberry Phone

Using a Plantronics headset with a BlackBerry phone can help drivers stay focused.

A Plantronics Bluetooth headset can be used for hands-free communication on a BlackBerry. The headset fits over the ear and can be used to answer calls with the touch of a button. You can even set up the headset to automatically answer calls without touching the answer button. Connecting the Plantronics headset with a BlackBerry phone, or pairing, is a simple process that can be completed within minutes.

Instructions

1. Charge the Plantronics headset completely.

2. Turn on the headset by holding down the call button until it begins to flash blue and red.

3. Press the "Menu" key on the BlackBerry, then select "Options" and "Bluetooth."

4. Press the "Menu" key, then select "Add Device."

5. Click the radio button next to "Search for devices from here," then click "OK."

6. Select the Plantronics headset from the list of found devices, then enter the passcode for the device. The default passcode is "0000."

7. Press the "Menu" key, then select "Connect." You should receive confirmation that the devices were successfully paired.
