Install OVI on a Nokia N81
OVI, which means "door" or "gateway" in Finnish, is the global brand for Nokia's Internet services. Ovi lets you organize your contacts, share media and stay in touch with friends and communities from one single location. With Nokia N81's Internet connectivity feature and its compatibility with the Ovi software, you can enjoy the Ovi Store, Ovi Share, and Ovi Map services. These services allow you to download freeware and commercial games, apps, and ringtones directly onto your device.
Instructions
1. Press the "Menu" key on the Nokia N81 to access the main menu screen. Navigate to the phone's Internet browser and open it.
2. Enter the address from the Ovi Store in the address bar to access the website (see Resources).
3. Select the "Download" link to download the Ovi installation file. Once the download process is complete, follow the on-screen instructions to install Ovi on your Nokia N81 handset.
