The Palm Treo 650 smartphone can connect to Bluetooth wireless headsets like the Motorola H500 for hands-free voice calling. However, before you can transmit audio between a Treo 650 and a Motorola H500, you must pair the two devices together by enabling the H500's pairing mode and scanning for Bluetooth devices using the Treo 650 software.
Instructions
1. Press the "Applications" key on your Treo 650 and tap the "Bluetooth" icon. If the Bluetooth feature on your Treo 650 is disabled, tap "On" to enable it.
2. Tap "Setup Devices," then tap "Trusted Devices."
3. Press the "Call" button on your Motorola H500 and hold it for about 10 seconds to activate the headset's pairing mode.
4. Tap the "Add Device" button on your Treo's touchscreen to scan the area for nearby Bluetooth devices.
5. Tap your Motorola H500 in the list of Bluetooth devices that appears.
6. Type "0000" when the Treo prompts you to enter a security PIN, then tap "OK" and "Done" to finish pairing your Treo 650 and your Motorola H500.
