Install A Logitech Headset

Install a Logitech Headset

Logitech headsets can be a great way to listen to music or other sounds on your computer without bothering those around you. Logitech headsets also have a microphone attached to them which enables users to communicate with others through things such as Skype, video conferencing or while playing multi-player games online. If you've recently purchased a new Logitech headset, setting it up on your computer can be done in just a few minutes.

Instructions

1. Install any software that came along with your particular headset model by inserting the included CD in your computer. Most Logitech headsets are plug and play, meaning they just need to be plugged into your computer to work with no additional software required.

2. Plug the USB cord attached to your headset into your computer's USB port.

3. Plug the pink jack into the microphone input on your computer. This port is typically designated with a picture of a microphone beside it.

4. Plug the black jack into the headphone input on your computer. This jack is typically designated with a picture of a headphone beside it.

5. Open an application you plan on using the headset with to try it out.
