Retrieve Voice Mail On A Motorola

Retrieving voicemail on a Motorola phone, one of the more popular cell phones, is a simple process.


Instructions


1. Go to your phone's main menu. The style or model of Motorola phone that you have will most likely be a flip-phone, touch-screen, or flat screen and keypad phone. The menu key should be visible on the screen of your phone if using a touch-screen phone. For other phones, the menu listed on the screen will correspond to a button in the center, top left, or top right, depending on the model. Press this button to access the main menu screen. The center button will be a default setting that always brings you to the menu.


2. Select "messages" from your main menu. This will bring you to a screen that has "text" and "voicemail".


3. Select "voicemail" from the message screen. This will bring you to your inbox and may show you a list of how many messages you have in the inbox.


4. Press the call button, which is normally a green phone icon on your keypad. This will connect you to your cell phone provider's message center, which you should have set up after you initiated service. You must have a voicemail account set up with your cell phone provider to retrieve voice mail.


5. Enter your pin number or password to log into your message center and retrieve your messages. You will be prompted by pre-recorded instructions to listen, delete or save your messages once you have logged into the message center.
