Reset Wep200

When you upgrade your cell phone, you may want to use your WEP200 Bluetooth headset on your new device. Since the WEP200 has no display or interface, the only way to get the headset to connect to your new device is to put it back into pairing mode. When the WEP200 is in pairing mode, other Bluetooth devices can see it and establish a connection. Putting your WEP200 device into pairing mode is a simple process and the entire connection procedure should only take a few seconds.

Instructions

1. Charge you your headset by plugging it into the adapter and plugging the adapter into a wall outlet. Ideally you would let it sit for more than an hour to fully charge, but you can remove it after only a few minutes, since that is enough power to reset the headset.

2. Press and hold the large multifunction button on the face of the WEP200 for about four seconds to turn the unit off. You will see the indicator light flash twice and then stop blinking. If the indicator light on your WEP200 is not blinking every few seconds, you headset is already off, and you can skip this.

3. Place the headset into pairing mode by pressing and holding the multifunction button for about eight seconds. The indicator light will turn a solid blue when the WEP200 is in pairing mode.

4. Go into the Bluetooth menu of your phone and search for new devices. Scroll to the WEP200 and select it. Enter "0000" as the pass code and complete the connection. The indicator light will flash rapidly 10 times. Your WEP200 is now paired with your new device instead of the old one.
