The Nokia N96 is a smartphone that has many capabilities. You can watch videos, mobile TV and receive your email automatically from all your email accounts in one place. Similar to the Apple iPhone, the Nokia N96 is a touchscreen phone with an array of applications. One of the more popular applications is Yahoo Messenger, an instant-messaging program. Using your Yahoo user name, you can stay in touch with your online buddies via IMs from your mobile phone.
Instructions
1. Select the "Download!" application from the home screen on your Nokia N96.
2. Navigate to the search bar and type "Yahoo Messenger." Yahoo Messenger is a free application.
3. Select "Download" and follow the prompts to complete the installation process.
4. Restart your phone once the application has downloaded.
5. Open the "Yahoo Messenger" application from the application list on your Nokia N96 home screen.
6. Enter your Yahoo user name and password into the sign-in field to access the Yahoo Messenger. If you do not have a Yahoo user name, select the "New User" icon and create a user name and password.
