Initiate Skype on your Nokia N95 for quick and easy communications.
The Nokia N95 series smart phone was produced by Nokia in 2007. It serves as a cell phone, multi-media player and a data center. Skype is a communications company that provides users with the ability to talk for no cost from one computer to another using VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) technology. For a fee, you can use Skype to call most landlines throughout the world, and you will receive your own Skype phone number. Install Skype on your Nokia N95 phone so that communications can be initiated anywhere.
Instructions
1. Go to the home menu on your N95 by pressing the large silver button in the bottom center of the phone.
2. Click on the icon that says, "Applications." See if you have downloaded Skype into your applications. If not, go to the Skype download page (see Resources) and find the download that is right for you and download it onto your phone. Run the application once it is downloaded.
3. Type your username and password when the screen prompts you to do so. If this is your first time accessing a Skype account, you will have to do so on the computer first at skype.com
4. Press the "Sign In" button when you have put in your user name and password. Answer the setup questions as you go through the process including which connection you want. Once this is complete and you are connected to a network, you are free to make and receive calls.
