Transfer contacts from SIM card to TracFone all at once, or one at a time.
SIM cards are like mini hard drives for your cell phone and are used to store information. Like all computer chips, though, they are limited in their capacity and can get full. In that case it is necessary to import the information on the SIM card to the cell phone's internal memory to free up space. This allows you to continue to store information on the SIM card without having to delete a contact, thus losing it forever.
Instructions
Copy All Contacts at Once
1. Press the left soft key for "Menu" while the Tracfone is in standby mode.
2. Choose "Contacts" followed by "Contact Settings."
3. Select "Copy All" and choose to transfer contacts to "Phone" when prompted.
4. Press the left soft key to copy all the contacts from SIM card to TracFone.
Copy Contacts One by One
5. Press the left soft key for "Menu" when the TracFone is in standby mode.
6. Choose "Contacts" followed by "Contact List."
7. Highlight the contact entry to transfer to the TracFone using the navigation keys and press the left soft key for "Options."
8. Choose "Copy to Phone" and then the Tracfone type using the navigation keys. Press the left soft key to "Select."
9. Press "OK" to save the contact from the SIM card to the TracFone.
