Deactivate Gprs For Hotlink

Deactivate GPRS if you hardly use the Internet.


Hotlink provides mobile Internet service to almost any phone. With Hotlink, you would use the GPRS settings on your phone to surf the Web, check e-mails and send instant messages. GPRS is short for General Packet Radio Service. With GPRS, you may surf the Web at high speeds. If you find that you no longer use this service, contact Hotlink to deactivate the GPRS. This way, you will not incur any charges on your monthly bill.


Instructions


1. Call Hotlink via the provided contact information on your bill. Provide your account information when connected to someone who will assist you.


2. Tell the representative that you would like to deactivate GPRS settings on your phone. Give your account information to confirm you want to remove this service.


3. Access your phone's main menu. Click on "Settings and Tools" and "Connections." Click "Advanced" or "ISP," depending on your phone's settings.


4. Click "Disable" under the GPRS settings. Press the "OK" button. You have now disabled GPRS on your phone.
