The Jawbone 1 Pairing Instructions

The Jawbone 1 is a wireless headset that connects to a mobile phone using Bluetooth. Before you can use your Jawbone 1, you need to go through a setup process called pairing. You only need to go through the pairing process once. When the Jawbone 1 is paired with your phone, the phone will remember the connection settings until you delete the pair.

Instructions

1. Charge your Jawbone headeset until it is fully charged.

2. Check the LED status indicator to make sure the Jawbone is powered off. The LED should be off, not flashing or solid on.

3. Hold down the "Noise Shield Button" for three seconds. It's the large black button with the word "Jawbone" printed on it. Wait for the LED to flash red and white.

4. Initiate the pairing process on your phone. Most phones have a Bluetooth menu somewhere under the Settings option. Refer to the phone manual for specific instructions.

5. Enter the passkey of "0000" when prompted by your phone.

6. Select "Yes" if your phone prompts you to complete the pairing process.

7. Press the phone's "END" or red phone button to return to the main screen. Look for a Bluetooth icon on the phone's status bar at the top of the screen.
