Sync A Cell Phone With Itunes

Connect iPhone to a computer with a USB cable to sync.


The Apple iPhone offers a plethora of features, from email access to social-networking apps. The phone plays music and videos as well. While you can purchase content directly from the iPhone, users often make purchases from iTunes. Syncing an iPhone moves new music and videos from iTunes to the iPhone and updates the iPhone to the newest version of the operating system as well.


Instructions


1. Connect your iPhone to your computer with the white USB cable that came with the phone.


2. Open iTunes, if it does not open automatically. If do not have iTunes on your computer, download it free of charge from the Apple website.


3. Select "iPhone" from the left-hand toolbar by clicking on it once.


4. Click on the "Summary" tab from iPhone screen that opens in iTunes.


5. Set sync options by clicking the box next to "Automatically sync when this iPhone is connected" or "Sync only checked songs and videos."


6. Click "Apply" in the lower right-hand corner of the iTunes screen.


7. Go to the "Music" tab if you select "Sync only checked music and videos." Check the songs and videos that you want to sync with your iPhone and click "Apply" at the bottom of the screen.
