Erase My Restricted Number On A Nokia 6820 B

Erase the numbers in a Nokia 6820B

Sometimes you need to erase the phone number on an old phone when you want to get rid of it. The Nokia 6820 is a GSM phone that was released around 2004 and came in silver and black versions. If you don't want the new owner to get your numbers, you can clear out the numbers in your phone. The phone number for the phone is stored in the SIM card and not in the phone itself. To erase it, just remove the SIM. If there are other restricted numbers in the phone book, erase them using the phone menu.

Instructions

1. Press in the five-way directional key to access the phone's main menu and scroll down to settings. Press on the key to access the settings menu.

2. Scroll down to "Restore Factory Settings," then press the key again. The phone will ask for a security code.

3. Enter your security code. The default code is 12345. This will wipe all the user settings in the device.
