Insert A Restriction Code On The Nokia 6220

Crammed within the Nokia 6200's sturdy candy bar design are lots of features, including an excellent keypad, FM radio, GPRS data service and infrared connectivity. Like with all other Nokia mobile phones, you can put a restriction code/security code on the Nokia 6220 to prevent unauthorized access and usage. This feature protects your privacy and restricts other people from gaining access into your phone.

Instructions

1. Press the "Menu" option soft key at the home screen to access the "Menu" screen.

2. Go to "Settings" and select "Security Settings." Navigate to "Access Codes" and select it.

3. Select "Security Code" and enter the default code "12345" to change it. Enter your new five-digit restriction code. Re-enter the code to confirm the change.

4. Go to "Phone Settings" at the "Settings" menu and navigate to "Automatic Keyguard." Select and choose "On." For the keypad lock, set any length of time from 5 seconds to 60 minutes, for the keypad to automatically lock when the phone is on standby mode.
