Switch Off The Gprs On A Celcom Prepaid

Celcom is a mobile telephone service provider that offers service plans to its subscribers across Malaysia. GPRS or General Packet Radio Services is a term that refers to the mobile Internet technology that runs on Celcom prepaid devices. GPRS on Celcom prepaid devices give subscribers unlimited high-speed access to the Internet. The process of switching off or deactivating the GPRS service on your Celcom Prepaid device is fairly straightforward.


Instructions


1. Go to your Celcom User Account webpage. Log in using your username and password. If you are attempting the access your account outside of Malaysia, you need to contact the Customer Service department by phone (See Resources) and request that GPRS service is disabled on your account. Browsers outside of Malaysia will not open the My Celcom portal.


2. Click the "Services" tab in the My Celcom screen. Next, click the "Mobile Internet" option.


3. Click the "Disable Service" button in the Mobile Internet screen.
