Enable Bluetooth Profiles

You can use a Bluetooth headset for hands-free calling.


Fumbling with your phone to answer a call can be problematic especially when you're driving, but with Bluetooth technology, answering a call requires just a click of a button. The Bluetooth feature on your cell phone is convenient and safe because it leaves your hands free.


Instructions


Android


1. Tap the "Settings" icon on the home screen of your Android phone.


2. Select "Wireless & Networks" and then select "Bluetooth Settings."


3. Tap "Bluetooth" to turn on the feature. Make sure your Bluetooth-enabled device is in discoverable mode so you can pair it with your phone.


4. Tap "Scan for Devices" to pair your device to the Android. Enter "0000" once the option populates to enter the passkey. You can also find the passkey in the user's manual for both devices.


Blackberry


5. Click on the "Settings" icon on your Blackberry. This will open the folder to manage the settings.


6. Click on "Manage Connections" and click on "Bluetooth." This will enable the Bluetooth feature on the Blackberry and make your handset discoverable to other Bluetooth enabled devices.


7. Click on "Set up Bluetooth" to pair your Blackberry with the Bluetooth-enabled device. Make sure the device is discoverable, and click "Search" on your Blackberry.


8. Select the device on your Blackberry you would like to pair and enter the passkey when the option populates on the screen. The passkey is typically "0000." You can also find the passkey in the user's manual.


iPhone


9. Tap the "Settings" icon on your iPhone home screen.


10. Select "General" and choose "Bluetooth" to enable the Bluetooth feature on your iPhone.


11. Select the option to turn the Bluetooth on. Make sure your Bluetooth-enabled device is discoverable so you can pair it with the iPhone.


12. Choose the device to pair it with under "Devices" and enter the passkey "0000." You can also find the passkey in the user's manual.


Windows Mobile


13. Tap on the "Settings" icon on your Windows mobile phone.


14. Tap on "Wireless Controls" to view the Bluetooth feature and turn it on.


15. Select "Bluetooth" to search for your Bluetooth-enabled device and select the device once it populates on your screen. Make sure your Bluetooth-enabled device is in discoverable mode.


16. Enter "0000" for the passkey once the option to enter it populates on the phone screen. You can also find the passkey in the user's manual.
