Unlock a Nokia miniSD memory card if it is locked or write-protected.
Many multimedia phones from Nokia include cameras and media players. To allow for additional storage on these phones, Nokia often includes a mini-SD memory-card slot. You can use Sandisk memory cards in these slots; however, if a message on the phone indicates a SanDisk mini-SD card is locked or write-protected, you must unlock it using an adapter that turns the mini-SD card into a standard SD card.
Instructions
1. Place the mini-SD card into a standard SD-card adapter.
2. Slide the lock switch on the SD-card adapter up to move it away from the "Lock" position, if necessary.
3. Toggle the lock switch if it was not found in the "Lock" position previously. Slide the lock switch up and down three times, then leave the switch on "Lock" for 30 seconds before sliding it to the other position.
4. Remove the mini-SD card from the SD-card adapter and put it back into the memory-card slot in the phone.
