Flash A Verizon Samsung Cell To Cricket Service

If you no longer like Verizon's plans or service, you could have your Samsung phone flashed to the Cricket network. The Cricket corporation itself no longer flashes phones, but their dealers and stores still do. Instead of doing it yourself, visit a Cricket store near you to have the service done. This is desirable if you do not feel comfortable with flashing your phone. Flashing involves removing the Verizon software and programming and installing the Cricket programming and software on your phone.

Instructions

1. Save your files and data. You can use a memory card or the MyBackup software from Cricket. During the flash process, you could risk erasing your phone's memory.

2. Contact Cricket and ask the representative if your phone is compatible with the network. Provide the model number of your Samsung phone.

3. Bring your phone to a Cricket store. Explain that you need your phone flashed and activated to the network. Pay any fees associated with flashing and setting up an account.

4. Install the data and files back on your phone. Log in to your online Cricket account and follow the prompts for inserting the information back on your phone. Alternatively, you could insert the memory card on the side or bottom of your phone.
