Get Face Calling Working On Iphone

You can make free video calls on your iPhone over the Internet.

When you have an iPhone, you might want to see a person's face when you're talking, instead of just making a regular voice call. Apple includes the free FaceTime app on every recently made iPhone, for making free video calls to your contacts over the Internet. The iPhone, a cellphone with a 3.5-in. backlit LED touch-sensitive display, connects to the Internet via Wi-Fi, as well as cellular data networks. You can easily start using FaceTime on your iPhone to connect with other people who have FaceTime installed on their device or computer.

Instructions

1. Press the iPhone's "Home" button, located below the display.

2. Tap the "FaceTime" icon to launch Apple's native app for making video calls. A list of your contacts appears.

3. Tap the name of a person in your contacts list who has the FaceTime application installed on her Mac desktop or laptop, or who has an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch with the FaceTime app.

4. Tap "FaceTime" to initiate a call. When the other person answers, you will hear her speak and see her face on the screen of your iPhone, and she will see and hear you on her iPhone or computer.

5. Tap "End" at the bottom of the display when you are finished with your FaceTime video call.
