Transfer Contacts From An N95

The contacts in a cell phone's phone book comprise some of the most valuable data stored on your phone. Keeping a backup copy of your contacts helps to ensure that you can restore your phone's contacts, should they be erased for some reason. And with the help of your Nokia N95's USB cable or Bluetooth connection, you can transfer your contacts to your computer and even convert them to text files.

Instructions

1. Download and install a copy of Nokia Nseries PC Suite. (See Resources.)

2. Connect your N95 to your computer via USB cable or power on its Bluetooth when the "Get Connected" menu appears. Select your connection type and then continue to the end of the wizard.

3. Click on the "Contacts" icon in the program's main menu; the Nokia Communication Centre will launch. Click the "Refresh" button to back up your contacts to the Communication Centre.

4. Click the "File" heading at the top of the Communication Centre and then select the "Export" option, from the menu that appears below the heading, to export your contacts to a text file.
