Instructions

1. Enable USB connections on your cell phone. This process varies with different cell phones, but with most, you can enable it from the "Connections" options on the "Settings" screen or "Menu " screen on your phone. Refer to your cell phone's operating manual if you do not know enable USB connections.

2. Connect your cell phone to the computer using the supplied USB cable. Your computer automatically recognizes the device as a portable hard drive.

3. Double-click "My Computer" if you are using a Windows operating system. You should see your cell phone listed as a portable hard drive and assigned a letter (for example, D, H, or something else). For Mac users, you should see your phone's portable hard drive on the desktop.

4. Double-click your cell phone's hard drive to launch it. Locate the folder in which your photos are located and double-click it. (The folder name containing the pictures varies with different phone models, but is generally named photos, pictures or images.)

5. Click the pictures you want and drag them to the location you want to transfer them to on your computer. Alternatively, you can right-click your picture and click "Copy." Locate the folder you want to transfer the picture to and right-click an empty spot. Click "Paste" to copy the picture to the folder. Repeat this process to transfer additional pictures to your computer.

6. Close the folder when you are done transferring pictures to your computer. Disconnect the cell phone from your computer.
