Make Tracfone SIM Card Work in iPhone
If you've recently purchased a new or used iPhone and want to use it on a cellular carrier that's outside of any exclusivity agreements that may be in place with Apple, such as Tracfone, you will need to unlock your device so that it will be compatible with the new SIM hardware.
Instructions
1. Plug your iPhone into your computer and launch Blackra1n.
2. Click on the "Make it ra1n" button that is at the center of the Blackra1n unlock utility.
3. Allow the utility to automatically unlock and jailbreak your iPhone. When your device reboots, the unlocking process is complete.
4. Turn off your iPhone by holding the power button down and sliding the unlock icon to the right when it appears.
5. Remove the SIM card tray on your iPhone. If you have an iPhone 3G or 3GS, the SIM tray will be at the top of the device's casing. If you're using an iPhone 4, the SIM tray can be found along the right-hand border of the phone's casing.
6. Insert the Tracfone SIM card into your SIM tray and put the tray back into your device, then power your iPhone back on.
