Your Nokia 6126 phone includes a card slot that allows you to use a MicroSD card -- a portable storage device for storing additional information and files including music and photos. Using MicroSD cards allows you to save your phone's memory space. Occasionally, saving content to your card may fail. The cause of this varies; however, with a few troubleshooting steps and guidelines, you can solve this issue.
Instructions
1. Turn off your phone and remove your memory card. Leave the phone off for a few seconds, and then reinsert it into your phone. Try saving content to it.
2. Try formatting your card. To do so, press the "Menu" button on your phone and select "Applications." Select the memory card folder.
3. Select "Options" and select "Format memory card." Select "Yes" to confirm. Your card is formatted. When the process completes, enter a name for your card. Make sure the number of characters does not exceed 11.
4. Try using another memory card if the one you are using is still not working. Chances are the older memory card could be damaged or corrupt.
