Enable Wifi On An Ipad

Use Wi-Fi to get online at home or work with your iPad.

The Apple iPad offers two connectivity options, depending on the model you've purchased. If you have a 3G capable model, you can use your cellular data plan to access the Internet, check email and perform other online tasks. If you didn't purchase the 3G model or wish to save your data-plan usage, you can get online by connecting to a Wi-Fi network.

Instructions

1. Access the Wi-Fi setting on your iPad. From the home screen, tap the Settings icon and then Wi-Fi.

2. Enable Wi-Fi. Use the slider to turn Wi-Fi on. Wait for the available networks to appear below.

3. Choose a network with which to connect. Wi-Fi is enabled. You can choose a network on this screen to connect to whenever you want to get online and there's a network in range. You might need to enter a code or security key if the network is secured. Just tap the network to connect.
