Many mobile service providers offer Nokia cell phones, in some cases with a prepaid plan. A prepaid plan helps you to keep the costs of using a cell phone within your budget. Even though your phone is prepaid, you can still personalize your phone by choosing your own ringtones. Websites such as Ventones offer free ringtones to registered members.
Instructions
1. Access a free mobile content provider's website such as Zedge or Fun For Mobile. Register for an account. During registration, you will need to provide your Nokia prepaid phone number. You may also be required to provide your email address and name.
2. Click "Ringtones" from the site's top menu. Depending on the site, you may need to select "Downloads" or "Content" before selecting "Ringtones.
3. Browse the ringtones. Select a ringtone for your Nokia prepaid phone.
4. Click "Send to Phone" and enter your phone number. Click "Send." A text message containing a link will be sent to your phone.
5. Open the message you receive and click the "Download" link. The ringtone will be saved on your Nokia phone.
