Sprint Nextel Blackberry 8830
If you have a Blackberry 8830 and have a voice plan with Sprint Nextel, you can easily set up voicemail access to it by carrying out the following simple steps. In this process, you will be saving your voice mail access number as a contact. This will allow you to easily and quickly access your messages while you travel.
Instructions
1. In your Sprint Nextel Blackberry phone do the following:
Click on Address Book.
Then, click on Menu.
Then, click on New Address.
2. Enter a name. You can choose "My Voicemail", "My Messages" etc.
3. Now type in your phone number. Use the following format:
+1 (Area Code) Your Sprint Nextel Number.
For example, if your area code is 234, and your number is 5678900, then you should enter:
+1(234)5678900
4. Now that you have entered the name and the number, select menu, and select Save. Congratulations, you have successfully set up your Sprint Nextel voicemail access number on your Blackberry 8830 phone.
