Update A Mobile Flash Player

Updating the mobile flash player will enable you to view many websites.


If you have a smartphone, updating the flash player will increase the performance and reliability on your device, thus allowing you to view many websites with full flash capabilities. With an Internet connection, you can update your flash player by downloading a newer version, the same as you would if you were updating the flash player on your computer. It is relatively easy to accomplish within a short amount of time.


Instructions


Uninstalling Previous Players


1. Uninstall the previous flash player from your mobile device. Depending upon your phone, you may find the flash player software in your "Applications" tab. Therefore, click the "Applications" tab and scroll down the list until your find "Adobe Flash Player" and select "Remove" or "Uninstall."


2. Connect your mobile device to your computer. Wait for the ActiveSync or Windows Mobile Device Center to load. Click "Programs and Services" followed by "Add or Remove Programs." Wait for the program list to load, then locate the "Adobe Flash Player" from the list of "Installed" programs. Select "Remove" and wait for the program to uninstall.


3. Restart your phone for the changes to take effect.

4. Open the web browser on your mobile device and access the Adobe Flash Player website.


5. Select "Downloads" from the main menu. The newest version for your device will populate on the screen.


6. Read the terms and conditions and select "Agree and install now" from the bottom of the screen.


7. Wait for the download box to populate and select "OK" or "Download" when prompted.


8. Follow the instructions on your screen until you reach the "Successfully installed Adobe Flash Player" message. Restart your phone for the changes to take effect.
