Many Nokia mobile phones do not just provide calling capabilities, but also have the ability to store and use programs and applications. If you install too many programs to your Nokia mobile phone, though, you may run out of space for new applications or start to experience problems on the phone due to a lack of memory. If either of these things occur, or if you just want to rid your Nokia mobile of unused programs, you can uninstall programs from a Nokia mobile phone using a built-in tool.
Instructions
1. Access the application manager on the Nokia mobile phone. You can do this a few different ways depending on your phone model. On all phones, touch the Menu button to see all menu options. Once in the menu, App Mgr can be found under "Applications," "Installations" "Tools," "Ctrl Panel" or Settings," so you may have to check all of these locations before finding the application manager.
2. Tap "Uninstall" from the list of options available in application manager. A list of all of the programs and applications stored on the Nokia phone populates on the screen.
3. Scroll through the programs in the list and touch the program that you want to uninstall from the Nokia mobile phone to highlight the program. Once you find and highlight the program that you want to remove from the phone, click the "Uninstall" button again.
4. Click "Uninstall now" to confirm that you want to uninstall the program when prompted. The Nokia uninstall feature automatically removes all of the files and components for that program from the phone.
