Jitterbug Phone Specs

The Jitterbug J is an entry-level flip cellphone, introduced in 2006 by GreatCall and custom-designed by Samsung. The phone runs on the GreatCall mobile system and is aimed primarily at elderly users who prefer a simple phone with basic features. The phone is designed to reproduce the feel of a landline and among its features are Bluetooth capability, big buttons and a dial tone when the phone is switched on.

The Jitterbug J cellphone is 2.16 inches in width, 3.87 inches in height, 0.97 inches in depth and weighs 4.06 oz.


Call Features and Messaging


The Jitterbug J features voice dialing, caller ID, speakerphone and text messaging. All options for the phone are accessed by "yes" or "no" responses. The phone book can hold 50 names and numbers.


Display


The Jitterbug J has a 2.1-inch LCD display with a resolution of 176 by 220 pixels. The display has an 18-bit color depth that produces 262,000 colors.


Battery


The Jitterbug J has a rechargeable battery with three hours of talk time and 300 hours of standby.
