Edit A Nokia Theme Installer

Nokia phones support various themes, which are basically the graphical interface including the wallpapers, images, menus, icons, buttons and practically everything you see on the screen. Each phone comes with a set of themes, in addition to which you can add more. Nokia's theme editor lets you create themes yourself. You can also edit existing themes that you may have downloaded from the Internet.

Instructions

1. Download Carbide, Nokia's official theme maker and editor. You can find its download link on Nokia's website. Install it.

2. Launch the application by going to "Start" > "Programs" > "Carbide."

3. Open an existing theme that you want to edit on the application by going to "File" > "Open." To make a new theme, click "New" and select your Nokia device from the list.

4. Click "Choose File" and select images for the theme. The required images will be for the active background, idle background, wallpaper, popup windows background and applications background.

5. Select an icon package for your theme from the available templates. You will find templates of different colors and styles. Pick one that you think would look good with your theme.

6. Add other details to your theme, such as virtual buttons, menu screens, calendar, scroll bars, clock icon and status bars. You can select these components from templates on the application.

7. Click "Save" when you have finished editing the theme. Save the file on the desktop.

8. Connect your Nokia phone to the computer via USB data cable, and send the theme to the phone.
