My iPhone Will Not Ring
If you're missing incoming phone calls due to your iPhone not ringing, you may have accidentally switched the ringer to vibrate or silent, according to Apple. The switch on the left side of the iPhone turns off the ringer and usually sets your phone to vibrate mode, but if your iPhone's vibrate setting is also disabled the phone will instead be set to silent mode. When in the phone's sound settings vibrate mode can be enabled, and the ringer volume of your phone is adjustable.
Instructions
1. Push the switch on the left side of the phone to the up position. When the ringer is enabled, a bell icon will appear on your iPhone's screen.
2. Tap "Settings" and click "Sounds."
3. Slide your finger against the volume bar's tab to the right to increase the volume of the phone's ringer.
4. Tap the switch on the "Vibrate" tab to "ON" to activate vibrate mode. When receiving a call, your iPhone will simultaneously ring and vibrate.
