Synchronize A Nokia 6500 With Outlook

Synchronize your Nokia 6500 with Microsoft Outlook.

Featuring a 2-inch display, a digital camera, media players and 3G service, the Nokia 6500 Classic is a compact handset marketed for consumers looking for a simple, intuitively designed cellular device. Additionally, by utilizing Nokia PC Suite--which can be downloaded from Nokia's website--you can synchronize contacts, to-do lists, calendars and emails between your Microsoft Outlook account and your 6500 Classic handset.

Instructions

1. Go online to the Nokia website and download the Nokia PC Suite by clicking "Download Nokia PC Suite" (see Resources). Run the installation wizard and finalize the installation.

2. Plug your Nokia 6500 into your computer with the USB cable that was included with the unit.

3. Go to your program files from the "Start" menu and open Nokia PC Suite.

4. Click the synchronize button on the right. The synchronize button looks like two curly arrows pointing at each other.

5. Select "Microsoft Outlook" from the drop-down menu and click the right arrow button at the bottom of the window.

6. Click the check boxes beside the files you would like to synchronize between your Nokia 6500 and Microsoft Outlook. Click the right arrow button at the bottom of the window.

7. Select "Microsoft Outlook" in the drop-down menu on the next window and click the right arrow at the bottom of the window.

8. Select which dates you would like to pull your to-do and calendar data from using the drop-down menus and click the right arrow at the bottom of the page.

9. Click the green check mark at the bottom of the screen. Your Microsoft Outlook data will now synchronize with your Nokia 6500 handset.
