Restore Deleted Mobile Text Messages

You can restore messages on your Windows Mobile device.

Smart phone users have the ability to send and read text messages from other mobile users. Similar to desktop and laptop computers, messages are sent to your inbox, and transferred to your phone's "Deleted Items" folder when you delete them. The items in this folder are not immediately emptied, which gives you time to restore the message to the inbox.

Instructions

1. Open the text message on your Windows Mobile device. For example, on T-Mobile phone running Windows Mobile 6, press "Text/Multimedia" on the screen's home page, and press it again under the list titled "Messaging."

2. Press "Menu," and select "Folders." Select "Deleted Items."

3. Locate the message that you wish to restore. Click "Menu," and "Move." Highlight "Inbox," and press "Select." The message will be transferred back to your Inbox.
