Call On An Ipod Using Whistle

Whistle Phone is a Voice Over Internet Protocol software application created by Vail Systems, Inc. With this VOIP application, you can make voice calls over any Apple device that has an Internet connection, including your iPad and iPod touch. By using Whistle Phone on your iPod touch, you transform your iPod into an iPhone. Make calls to people all across the U.S. All calls are ad-sponsored and limited to 20 minutes.


Instructions


1. Open the iTunes application on your iPod touch. Select "App Store. Type "Whistle Phone" into the app store search box.


2. Touch "Install" to install the application onto your iPod.


3. Launch the Whistle Phone application on your iPod. Select "Create A Whistle Account." Complete the setup wizard by entering your name, email address and desired account password.


4. Check your email inbox for a message from Whistle Phone. The message contains an activation link you must click on to activate your Whistle Phone account. After clicking the activation link, your new Whistle Phone number will appear.


5. Open the Whistle Phone application on your iPod. Select "Account." Enter your Whistle Phone number and password.


6. Insert a compatible microphone headset into the earphone jack of your iPod.


7. Start making calls. Use the virtual telephone pad to dial the 10-digit phone number you wish to call. Press "Call" to initiate the call.
