Start Gprs In A Vodafone Prepaid Card

Begin GPRS on your Vodafone prepaid card by sending a text.

The Vodafone company, which stands for Voice Data Fone, offers mobile data access using General Packet Radio Service (GPRS). The technology is found primarily on cellular devices in Europe and Asia. GPRS is slightly faster than standard digital technology for sending and receiving texts and browsing the Internet, but it's slower than 3G technology. Start GPRS on your Vodafone prepaid card by sending a text message from your mobile phone.

Instructions

1. Purchase a cell phone in Europe or Asia that is compatible with the Vodafone prepaid card. Depending on your cell phone model, your unlocked cell phone might be compatible. Insert your Vodafone prepaid card into your cell phone.

2. Activate your Vodafone prepaid card and ensure that the card works properly in your phone.

3. Text "ACT VL" to the number 111. Your GPRS will be activated within 24 hours.

4. Send "VL " to 56789, inserting your phone model (Ex: "VL N2700" for Nokia 2700 classic) after 24 hours to receive your phone settings. You will receive your GPRS and MMS settings via text. These settings must be entered into your phone. Your phone menu will direct you to the settings page.
