If you are using your E71 phone as much as Nokia would like, you'll be staring at the screen hundreds of times a day while making calls, typing texts and checking e-mail. If that's the case, you'll soon grow sick of staring at the default theme, which includes the wallpaper, icons and general look of everything that appears on the screen. If you don't like any of the factory installed themes, you can also download new ones directly from your phone.
Instructions
1. Turn on your Nokia E71 phone.
2. Select "Menu" from the "Home" screen, then choose "Tools" and "Themes."
3. Choose which theme that you want to change. "General" will change the theme for all applications and "Menu view" will change the theme for the main menu only. You also have the option of changing the theme for a specific application by selecting the respective folder. Select the theme to use and click "OK."
4. Download new themes by selecting "General" or "Menu view" then choose "Download Themes." Once you have a link, enter it into your phone and press "OK." Wait for it to download and select "Options." Choose "Preview" to get a glimpse of how it will look on your phone or choose "Set" to use the theme.
