Configure A Nokia 6120 Classic For Internet Surfing

The Nokia 6120 can be used to surf the Internet.


The Nokia 6120 Classic is a fully fledged S60 smartphone that's also light in weight. Despite the compact feel of the 6120, the phone offers clear sound quality, high picture resolution with its 2.0 megapixel LED flash camera and, in addition, excellent reception. With its full speed 3.5 G support, the Nokia 6120 offers a fast Internet browsing experience providing that your network supports it.


Instructions


1. On the Nokia 6120 Classic, go to "Menu > Tools," then open "Settings > Connection."


2. Select "Access Points." Choose and tap on "Options" and then select "New Access Point." Choose "Use Default Settings" to set up a new Internet connection.


3. At the "Connection Name" field, select and enter a name for the connection and choose "OK." Scroll down to set "Data Bearer" to "Packet Data."


4. Fill in the Access Point Name (APN), provided by your network operator and select "OK." Leave "None" as the default setting. Set "Prompt Password" to "No" and leave the "Password" option blank. Don"t use default settings when your wireless operator provides you with a username and password to enter in those fields.


5. Set "Authentication" to "Normal." Select "Homepage" and set it to any website you desire.


6. Tap on "Back" twice to go to "Connection Settings." Select "Packet Data." Choose "Packet Data Connection," set it to "When Available" and tap "OK." Set an "Access Point Name" provided by your network operator or leave blank when confirmed that it's needed to finish the setup.


7. To surf the Internet, go to "Menu" and select "Web."
