Qwest voice mail is handy when you cannot answer your phone. The caller will leave his or her name, phone number and a brief message. To receive messages on your Qwest phone, you will have to set up your voice mail box. Setting up your voice mail is a quick and simple process. You also have the ability to create greetings and a voice mail box name.
Instructions
1. Dial *98 from your mobile phone. Listen to the prompts to create your one- to 15-digit password.
2. Record your voice mail's name when the prompts direct you to do so. For example, say "John Smith" or the "Smith Family." Record a greeting or choose a pre-recorded greeting.
3. Dial *98 again to enter your voice mail. Enter your password. Your Qwest voice mail will automatically play your messages.
4. Press "7" to erase the message or "9" to save the message. You can listen to more commands, if necessary.
5. Press "2" to send a voice mail message to another phone. Enter the person's 10-digit mobile number and create a message.
