Flash A Nokia 6300

Flashing is a process that erases your phone's firmware and internal memory. This process brings your Nokia 6300 back to its factory settings. Your Nokia phone calls this process a "factory restore," which means that it removes any downloaded software and data from your phone. It also removes any associated problems such as bugs, viruses or software glitches. Factory restoring and flashing are the same terms since your Nokia phone will back to the point when you first had it. The process for flashing your Nokia 6300 is as simple as pushing a few buttons.

Instructions

1. Turn on your Nokia phone. Wait 30 seconds for your phone to load. Press the "MENU" button.

2. Press the right arrow key to navigate to "Settings." Select "Restore Factory Settings" from the bottom of the menu. This is the selection for flashing your Nokia phone.

3. Enter your security code. This is a four-digit code created for your phone. The default code is "0000."

4. Press the "OK" button. The phone will flash itself and restart.
