Unlocking with a SIM Card
If you want to use your 3G SIM with another carrier, you will need to unlock your phone to allow you to insert a SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) from any carrier that you wish to use. One caveat to be aware of is that your phone warranty may be voided whenever an "unlock" is performed. If this is of concern to you, check with your respective mobile carrier.
Instructions
1. Download QuickPwn and install onto your computer (see Resources).
2. Open QuickPwn on your computer and connect your phone to the computer. QuickPwn will begin unlocking your phone. Once the unlock has happened, turn your phone off.
3. Turn on your phone and install a new SIM card into the phone to test and see if the unlock worked.
4. If the carrier does not show on your phone with the new SIM card, reinstall QuickPwn onto the phone and begin the process over.
