Troubleshoot Tracfone Voicemail
TracFone Wireless is one of the largest cell phone companies in the world. They currently have over 15 million subscribers in the United States, and are the largest "No Contract" company in America as of 2010. TracFone offers several perks with their phones such as call waiting, caller ID, text messaging and voice mail. Occasionally there are quirks with a certain cell phone feature, like receiving your voice mail. Don't throw your phone away over a small glitch, learn troubleshoot these little difficulties.
Instructions
1. Call TracFone or visit their website to ensure that you have set up your voice mail. Make sure you can receive phone calls from your TracFone, you cannot receive your voice mail without active service. Voice mail is only available on digital TracFone models.
2. Fixing your Tracfone if you can't access your voice mail from your wireless phone. Check the number you dialed to ensure that you dialed the complete phone number. You can also access your voice mail by pressing and holding "1" until it dials your voice messaging box.
3. Reset your pass code if it is invalid by calling TracFone at 800-867-7183. If you have had a gap in your service arrangement you may need to set up your voice mail again.
4. Stop the wrong greeting or message from being played on your voice mail by contacting customer service at 800-867-7183.
