There are an increasing number of websites that allow you to convert or purchase ringtones for use on your mobile phone. If you have used a ringtone converter or purchased ringtones from websites other than Verizon, you will need to add them to your Samsung FlipShot SCH-U900 using your USB cable. The USB connection on your Samsung FlipShot allows you to transfer files to and from your computer, including any ringtones saved to your computer.
Instructions
1. Connect your USB cable to your Samsung SCH-U900 and to an open USB slot on your computer. The USB-Mode option will appear on your phone's screen. Click on "Transfer files" and click on "OK."
2. On your computer, click on "Start," then "Computer" and locate the ringtones you have saved on your computer for your phone.
3. Click on the ringtone and drag it to the removable drive in My Computer. The removable drive will be the drive for your Samsung phone. The file will be moved from your computer to your phone's ringtone file.
4. Disconnect your phone once you have transferred your ringtones to your phone. You will be able to access the ringtones by clicking on "Menu," "Settings & Tools," "OK," "Sounds settings," "Call sounds," and, finally, "Call ringtone."
