The 6030B is a model of cell phone manufactured by Nokia, a Finnish telecommunications and electronics corporation based in the city of Espoo. The Nokia 6030B features an internal phone and SIM lock feature for protecting against unauthorized access to your information should the phone be lost or stolen. To unlock a Nokia 6030B enter your phone or Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) lock code supplied with your SIM card at the time of purchase. The code provides you access to information stored on your SIM card. The process is quite straightforward and should only take a few seconds.
Instructions
Unlock Phone
1. Press any key on the Nokia 6030B. A message will appear asking for your phone lock code.
2. Enter your lock code. The code is between 5 and 10 digits long. The factory default code is "12345." See Tips if you forget your code.
3. Wait a moment as the phone is unlocked. You will now be able to use phone as normal.
Unlock SIM Card
4. Switch off your Nokia 6030B and turn it back on again. A message will appear asking for your SIM code.
5. Enter your SIM code. The code is included with your SIM card at the time of purchase.
6. Wait a moment as your phone continues to power up. You will be able to freely access data stored on the SIM card.
