Make Polyphonic Ringtones With Motorola Composer

Create Motorola ringtones from your phone's composer

In addition to the real sound ringtones many Motorola phones use, you can make your own free, polyphonic tones from your own device. You make them directly from your phone with the device's composer menu. You find song codes online to enter into the composer or make up your own song with each note to save as a ringer for any number of alerts.

Instructions

1. Open the main menu of your cell phone and click the "Media" menu.

2. Click "Ringtones" in the "Media" menu and select "Create Ringtone."

3. Click "Ringtone Composer" and select "New."

4. Use the keypad to compose your ringtone. Click any button from 0-9 to add one of four different sounds to the tone, depending on how many times you press the button. You can create your own song from scratch or you can find a code on the Internet and enter that into the composer.

5. Click "Save" once you have finished and your tone will be saved to your "Ringtones" folder.
