Browse Free Internet From The Cell Phone Via Bluetooth

Use Bluetooth to connect to the Internet.


When you are out and about and need to be online, you have many choices. One of the things that you can do is to connect to the Internet through your Bluetooth. If you have a Bluetooth-enabled phone and a laptop that is set up to receive that type of signal, you can browse the Internet.


Although you aren't paying anything for the particular Internet service you are using, keep in mind that you will probably be paying phone charges for the airtime you are using. unless your phone plan allows unlimited data transfer.


Instructions


1. Click on the Bluetooth phone and turn on the software that goes along with the Bluetooth device.


2. Change your phone to "Discoverable," by turning it on and making it able to be discovered via Wi-Fi. Use your instruction book for your phone and Bluetooth device to figure out do this if you don't already know.


3. Click on "My Bluetooth Place" in your Windows XP.


4. Select "Devices," and if your phone is currently discoverable, you should see your phone listed as the device to choose.


5. Right-click on the icon or link for your particular phone, keeping in mind that there might be other services currently available, depending on where you are, and select "Discover Available Services".


6. Right click on "Dial Up Networking" as it appears and select "Connect" from the list.


7. Choose "Add to Paired" from the list of choices that appears.


8. Enter your PIN number for your Bluetooth connection into the cell phone when you are prompted.


9. Enter your name, password and ISP phone number into the box on your computer, when prompted to do so.


10. Click "Dial" in order to finish the connection.
