Bluetooth Headsets Compatible With Samsung Myshot Phone

Use a Bluetooth headset with your Samsung MyShot to use your phone hands-free.

The Samsung MyShot phone, also known as the Cricket SCH-R460, is a Bluetooth-compatible device. If you want to use your phone hands-free, all you have to do is connect a Bluetooth headset to your phone. Any Bluetooth headset can be used with the Samsung MyShot phone.

While the MyShot will work with any Bluetooth headset, using the Samsung brand of hands-free devices will ensure that you have no problems pairing your Bluetooth device with your phone.

Samsung has a complement of six different Bluetooth headsets. They boast features from noise-canceling to noise-reducing shields and dual pairing, which allows a headset to be paired with two different cell phones at the same time.

Jawbone Bluetooth Headset

If using the same company for both your phone and your headset is not up your alley, then Jawbone is one of the top producers of Bluetooth headsets because of the sleek and fashionable look while also having some of the most up-to-date features on the market.

The Jawbone Bluetooth headsets have battery management features, such as a battery-life icon on your phone, plus, when the battery is very low, the headset will tell you to recharge it.

Another great feature of Jawbone headsets is "Noise Assassin," which is a proprietary noise-canceling feature that Jawbone uses in all of its headsets. It will eliminate any background noise that is going on around you while you're on your phone and Bluetooth device.

Connect the Headset to Your Phone

Ensure that your headset is in the "Discoverable" mode, as this will enable your phone to find and connect to it. Then, access your phone's menu by pressing the left, soft button. Navigate down to, and select, the "Tools" section. In the next menu, select "Bluetooth." Then navigate to, and select, the "Registered List" option. On this screen, you want to select the "Add New Device." Press the left, soft key to turn Bluetooth on. Click the "OK" button, then prompt your phone to discover devices in the area. After the search is completed, a list of devices that were found will display on your phone. Select the headset and press the "OK" button to connect to it. Sometimes, you will need to enter a password to connect to the device. "0000" is the usual default password. Press "OK" to finalize the connection. When the connection is complete, your screen will display the "Add new hardware" screen.
