Upload songs from your computer or a CD.
Net10 offers a variety of prepaid phone solutions for those who wish to use a cell phone without a contract. Though Net10 offers a variety of ringtones for download, it charges a small fee for these ringtones. If you wish to create your own ringtones, you can upload songs or editing audio files to a ringtone uploading website. This allows you to share your ringtones with others or to send the ringtone to your phone via a text message.
Instructions
Ventones
1. Navigate to Ventones.com (see link in Resources). Click on the button that reads "Sign Up Here." Enter a user name, email, password, phone number and phone carrier and press "OK."
2. Click on the button that reads "Free Ringtone Maker." Enter the name of the ringtone. Press "Select File" and browse the music files on your computer. Select the desired file and press "OK." Press the "Upload" button.
3. Send the ringtone to your Net10. Click the button that reads "Send to Phone."
Rumkin
4. Navigate to the Rumkin website (see link in Resources). Click on "Tools."
5. Scroll to the box that reads "Upload Ringers."
6. Enter a name in the "Description" box. Click on "choose file" and locate the appropriate file. Highlight the file and click "OK." Enter your phone number, if you wish to send the uploaded ringtone to your phone. Press "Upload File."
Free Mobile Fun
7. Navigate to the Free Mobile Fun Website (see link in Resources).
8. Click the "Join" button and enter a user name, password, email address and phone number. Click "Join." Click on the button that reads "Log In" and enter your user name and password.
9. Press the button that reads "Upload."
10. Enter text in the "Song artist" box. Enter the appropriate name in the "Song title" box. Enter your name or user name in the "Your Name" box. Click on the drop-down menu and select the appropriate song genre. Click "Choose File" and select the file you wish to upload. Press "Submit."
