The Haier 1200p locks itself after a period of inactivity.
The Haier D1200p is a code division multiple access (CDMA) cell phone. You can use it to make and receive phone calls or text messages. After a period of inactivity, your phone will lock itself. This security feature prevents unauthorized users from accessing your phone. To unlock the phone, you might have to unlock the keypad or enter a special code. If you have trouble, contact your cell phone service provider.
Instructions
1. Contact your cell phone provider for your phone's PIN Unlocking Key (PUK) if you don't have it already. Verify your full name, street address and account number.
2. Press and hold the right soft key to unlock the keypad. The screen will display the message, "Keyguard active, press 123 to unlock keypad."
3. Press "123" using your keypad. Press any key to use your phone.
4. Enter the PUK if your phone prompts you.
5. Enter the phone lock code. The default code is "000000." Press the "OK" button when satisfied. You should now be able to receive and make phone calls.
